07 August 2009 Organising an event is a funny business. You have to plan for everything. For any event it is important to have a crisis plan in place – even some simple reactions to possible accidents on an A4 paper is better than nothing! But you must plan. I remember once hosting an event on a lake. Whilst it was only a shallow lake (about knee high) someone did fall in. It was a lovely event and looked spectacular but we did have to plan for this and had the correct procedures in place. |
